Full-Time Program Coordinator
Responsibilities
Collaborates with families in the rehabilitation process to enhance their effectiveness and involvement.
Educates families to help them cope with their relative’s illness and demonstrates knowledge of mental illness and medications.
Provides supervision to program staff, establishes staffing patterns, conducts staff meetings and evaluations, and identifies training needs.
Facilitates single-family consultations
Evaluates family needs and provides appropriate program referrals.
Facilitates family support groups and educational workshops
Ensures safe and adequate respite arrangements
Oversees the Acute Care Family Support Program at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center
Qualifications
MSW in Social Work or MA in Psychology or a related field
Three years of direct experience in mental health/human services required
Valid Driver’s license

Monday through Friday, 9am - 4pm
1-2 evening shifts per week (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Pay
$60,000 - $64,000 annual salary
