Full-Time Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with families in the rehabilitation process to enhance their effectiveness and involvement.

  • Educates families to help them cope with their relative’s illness and demonstrates knowledge of mental illness and medications.

  • Provides supervision to program staff, establishes staffing patterns, conducts staff meetings and evaluations, and identifies training needs.

  • Facilitates single-family consultations

  • Evaluates family needs and provides appropriate program referrals.

  • Facilitates family support groups and educational workshops

  • Ensures safe and adequate respite arrangements

  • Oversees the Acute Care Family Support Program at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center

Qualifications

  • MSW in Social Work or MA in Psychology or a related field

  • Three years of direct experience in mental health/human services required

  • Valid Driver’s license

Shifts Available

Monday through Friday, 9am - 4pm

1-2 evening shifts per week (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Pay

$60,000 - $64,000 annual salary
