Full-Time Bergen Community Liaison to Law Enforcement

Responsibilities

  • Establishes a professional relationship with law enforcement officers.

  • Provides support call for citizens law enforcement has had contact with and may need services.

  • Provides linkage referrals, as needed.

  • Completes documentation in a timely fashion and is consistent with Agency policy.

  • Makes follow up calls to inquire if any further assistance is needed.

  • Educates law enforcement officers regarding symptoms of mental illnesses, the mental health system and and services available.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology

  • At least three years direct care experience in mental health (community mental health preferred).

  • Valid Driver’s License

Monday through Thursday, 10am-6pm Friday 9am-4pm

Pay

$60,000 - $65,000 annual salary
