Full-Time Bergen Community Liaison to Law Enforcement
Responsibilities
Establishes a professional relationship with law enforcement officers.
Provides support call for citizens law enforcement has had contact with and may need services.
Provides linkage referrals, as needed.
Completes documentation in a timely fashion and is consistent with Agency policy.
Makes follow up calls to inquire if any further assistance is needed.
Educates law enforcement officers regarding symptoms of mental illnesses, the mental health system and and services available.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology
At least three years direct care experience in mental health (community mental health preferred).
Valid Driver’s License

Pay
$60,000 - $65,000 annual salary
