Full-Time Activities Therapist
Responsibilities
Facilitates a variety of therapeutic activities, art therapy groups, and cognitive stimulation groups
Responsible for researching new activities and implementing them into groups
Must be able to maintain a sound therapeutic relationship with our consumers and utilize crisis intervention skills as needed
Function as a team member; covering co-worker’s duties, including: van-driving, communicating consumer concerns to other team members
Actively serves as a member of the treatment team and assists team members with other assigned duties
Must be able to adhere to the organization’s documentation standards and complete updates in a timely manner
Qualifications
BA/BS in recreational therapy, BA/BS in psychology, or a related field
Certification in activity therapy desired
Experience with the SPMI population desired
Valid Driver’s License

$ 40,000 - $43,000 annual salary

Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
